Be Respectful
Everyone's immigration journey is different. Treat all members with kindness and empathy, even when you disagree. Personal attacks, insults, and dismissive language are not welcome here.
Share Genuine Experiences
Authenticity is the heart of Oxyjyn. Share your real experiences, honest opinions, and genuine advice. Don't fabricate stories or misrepresent your situation — it erodes trust for everyone.
No Hate Speech or Discrimination
We have zero tolerance for content that targets people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Protect Privacy
Don't share your full name, passport number, address, or other sensitive personal information. Don't share other people's private information without their consent.
No Spam or Unsolicited Promotion
Don't post advertisements, recruitment drives, affiliate links, or repetitive self-promotional content. Community-first content only. If in doubt, reach out to us first.
Report Harmful Content
If you see something that violates these guidelines, use the report button to flag it. We review all reports within 24 hours and will update you on any action taken.
Peer Advice, Not Professional Counsel
Oxyjyn is a peer-to-peer platform. Advice shared here is personal experience, not legal, financial, or professional counsel. Always seek qualified professionals for important decisions.
One Account Per Person
Each person may have only one Oxyjyn account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or manipulate the community is prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
No Misinformation
Don't share information you know to be false, especially about visas, immigration rules, or legal processes. Out-of-date information can cause serious harm to others. Always cite sources where possible.
Keep It Constructive
Disagreement is healthy; toxicity is not. If you challenge someone's view, do it with evidence and respect. The goal is to help each other, not to win arguments.
Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines are handled by our moderation team. Depending on severity and frequency, the following actions may be taken:
Warning
First-time or minor violations. You'll receive a warning email and the content may be removed.
Temporary Suspension
Repeated or moderate violations. Your account will be suspended for a defined period, and you'll be notified by email.
Permanent Ban
Severe or persistent violations. Your account will be permanently removed from the platform.
