You retain ownership

You retain all intellectual property rights in the content you post on Oxyjyn ("User Content"), including posts, comments, images, and files.

Licence to Oxyjyn

By posting User Content you grant Expatrict Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting purposes only), publicly display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where retention is required by law or where copies have been shared by others.

Your representations

By posting User Content you represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights and permissions to post it.
  • The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • The content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.
Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. Oxyjyn does not endorse any User Content and accepts no liability for it.

The Oxyjyn name, logo, brand assets, platform design, software, guides, and all other content created by Expatrict Ltd (collectively "Oxyjyn Content") are owned by or licensed to Expatrict Ltd and are protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit any Oxyjyn Content without our prior written consent, except:

  • Temporary copies made in the ordinary course of browsing.
  • Sharing links to Platform pages on third-party websites or social media for non-commercial purposes.

Any rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved by Expatrict Ltd.

Oxyjyn may display sponsored posts, advertisements, or affiliate links ("Commercial Content") on the Platform. All Commercial Content is clearly labelled as "Sponsored", "Ad", or "Partner" so that you can distinguish it from organic community content.

When you click an affiliate link we may receive a commission from the third-party provider at no additional cost to you. Such relationships do not influence our editorial content or community moderation decisions.

Oxyjyn does not endorse any product, service, or provider featured in Commercial Content. You interact with third-party offerings at your own risk and should conduct your own due diligence before making any purchasing or financial decisions.

We comply with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) codes and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance on online endorsements and affiliate marketing.

Premium features

Oxyjyn may offer a paid Premium Membership tier with enhanced features (e.g. advanced search, priority support, exclusive content). Current pricing is displayed on the Platform before purchase. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.

Billing and renewal

Premium subscriptions are billed on the cycle shown at checkout (monthly or annually) and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder email at least 7 days before renewal.

Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium Membership at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will not receive a refund for the unused portion of that period except where required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (e.g. within the 14-day cooling-off period for digital content, if applicable).

Price changes

We will give you at least 30 days' advance notice of any price increase. If you do not cancel before the new price takes effect, you agree to pay the revised amount.

Payment security

Oxyjyn is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment in compliance with the Online Safety Act 2023. We operate a combination of automated tools and human moderation to detect and act on content or behaviour that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

Enforcement actions

Depending on the severity and frequency of a violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Issue a formal warning.
  • Remove or restrict specific content.
  • Temporarily suspend your account.
  • Permanently terminate your account.
  • Report unlawful content or activity to relevant law-enforcement authorities.
Reporting

Members can report content or users they believe violate these Terms using the in-platform reporting tools. We aim to review all reports within 3 business days.

Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was applied in error, you may appeal within 14 days by emailing hello@oxyjyn.com with the subject line "Account Appeal". We will respond within 10 business days.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

Platform provided "as is"

Subject to the above, Oxyjyn is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses, or that any content is accurate, complete, or up to date.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Expatrict Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the total fees you paid to Oxyjyn in that period.

Consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that cannot be limited by contract, including rights relating to digital content that is not of satisfactory quality. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

Informal resolution

Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at hello@oxyjyn.com so that we can try to resolve the issue amicably within 30 days.

Jurisdiction

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Alternative dispute resolution

As an alternative to court proceedings, you may refer a dispute to an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
