Oxyjyn is a community platform built by immigrants, for immigrants. It's a place to share experiences, ask questions, find resources, and connect with others who understand what it means to relocate to a new country.
Whether you're navigating a visa application, searching for housing, looking for work, or simply wanting to meet people in your city, Oxyjyn's Circles and Hubs bring together people who've been through the same journey — and are ready to help.
Yes — Oxyjyn is free to join and use. You can browse posts, participate in Circles, join a Hub, send messages, and access guides without paying anything.
We also offer an optional Premium Membership for members who want access to enhanced features such as advanced search, priority support, and exclusive content. Premium pricing is shown on the Platform before any purchase, and you can cancel at any time.

Oxyjyn Immigrant Passport
The Oxyjyn Immigrant Passport is your personal identity on the platform. It is a shareable digital card that tracks your activity — posts, comments, guides read, and referrals — and reflects your rank within the community as you contribute more.
It has four core elements:
OXY Number
Your unique Oxyjyn member ID.
Rank
Your community level, starting at Newcomer and progressing as you engage.
Roots Streak
Tracks how consistently you show up on the platform.
Ripple
Measures the impact your contributions have on other members.
The more you contribute, the higher your rank and the richer your Passport becomes.
It is designed to be shared on WhatsApp, Instagram, or anywhere else, so your community can see where you are on your UK journey and join Oxyjyn using your referral code.
Community ranks recognise members who actively contribute helpful, positive content to Oxyjyn. As you post, comment, help other members, and engage with the community, you earn points that unlock higher ranks.
Ranks progress from Newcomer → Explorer → Settler → Resident → Community Leader.
Higher ranks unlock additional platform features and signal to other members that you are a trusted, established contributor. Ranks are visible on your profile and in all your posts.
A Hub is a location-based community within Oxyjyn — typically a country or major city where a significant number of our members live. Examples include the UK Hub, Lagos Hub, and Accra Hub.
Joining a Hub connects you with other immigrants in the same area, making it easier to find local resources, attend events, and get advice that is relevant to your specific location.
You can switch or add Hubs from your profile settings if you relocate or want to stay connected to multiple locations.
A Circle is a topic-based community within Oxyjyn. Each Circle focuses on a specific area of immigrant life:
- 🛂 Immigration — Visas, permits, applications, legal status
- 💼 Jobs — Employment, CV tips, interviews, work rights
- 💰 Finance — Banking, credit, taxes, money transfers
- 🏠 Housing — Renting, buying, tenant rights
- 👨👩👧 Family — Bringing family over, schools, childcare
- 🏥 Healthcare — NHS registration, health insurance, mental health
- 🎓 Education — Universities, qualifications, language courses
You can join as many Circles as are relevant to your situation.
Oxyjyn supports several types of posts depending on what you want to share:

- Experience — Tell your story or share a personal insight.

Yes. Oxyjyn offers an Anonymous Post option for sensitive topics — for example, questions about immigration status, personal financial situations, or health matters you'd rather not attach your name to.
When you post anonymously, your username and profile picture are hidden from other members. However, Oxyjyn's moderation team can still see the author if a post is reported or violates our community rules.
